Located in the sunny “ Hautes Alpes”, Gliss Adventure organizes holidays in RISOUL 1850. “La Fôret Blanche” and the linked resort of VARS, the 2nd skiing largest area in the southern Alps set in a backdrop of 900000 larches.

Our partner the “Snowboard café”. Located on the slopes opposite the ski lifts this restaurant offers you various good value formulas.
Sophie’s young and dynamic team offer you a warm welcome and entertain you with amazing ski and snowboard videos.
The half board formula : this one extends from the meal of Saturday evening (day of arrival), to the diner on Friday. (7 dinners - 6 breakfasts).
The option “handy bag lunch”: this one includes 6 baskets lunch from sunday to friday.

When you will hire the equipment, make your choice according:

- *The training course you choose. (It's not possible to practice in the half pipe with slalom skis !)
When hiring equipment it is important the choice must be made according to type of skiing or snowboarding you practice and lessons or training courses you have selected. This is more important than ever as material has enormously evolved in recent years and is very specialized for each discipline. For example, you will not be able to ride the “Half Pipe” with skis of slalom likewise ski slalom with half pipe skis.

w TRAINING COURSES:
To ensure a high quality of service, our partner is the ESF (Ecole du ski Francais). The ski school has over 70 qualified instructors and the 6 high mountain guides and guarantees the best level of teaching in the safest environments.
In a few words, competence, pleasure, safety and good atmosphere are guaranteed!
Training course “FREERIDE”:
This training course is addressed to advanced skiers or snowboarder with suitable ability to ride just about everywhere on the mountain, even if the technique is not the best! Your instructor will help improve on this during the week.
Video analysis makes it possible for the instructor to individualize the teaching,
The training course is spread out from Sunday to Friday (6 days, 3 hours a day). The rest of the day, your will be able to ride with your friends and practice technical elements approached during the training course.
Safety being a central point of the training course, you will be equipped systematically with a safety bag containing a shovel, a probe and a ARVA (avalanche transceiver), your instructor will not only teach you how to use that equipment, but also explain the elements of snow conditions providing the maximum security (risks of avalanches: terrain, quality of snow, wind, temperature, sun…).
Training course “FREESTYLE”:
This training course is addressed to good intermediate and advanced skiers or snowboarders. Freestyling does not require developed technical skills you just need to be able to ski down in parallel turns, (wide and short turns), to go down most pistes (snowboard), to jump the bumps, and to have enough balls to go for it !!!
Control of speed and the development of balance in phase of the jump will be the basic elements taught, enabling you to progress from basic “tricks” to advanced maneuvers (flat, 180°, 360, grabs…), both on the piste and in the famous “Surf Land Risoul” Snow Park.
The training course spread out from Sunday to Friday (6 days, 3 hours a day). The rest of the day, your will be able to ride with your friends and impress them as you practice the technical elements learnt during the lessons.
The training course “FREQUENCE SKI”:
This training course is aimed at advanced to expert skiers able to ski almost anywhere and everywhere and with some concepts of slalom or giant slalom.
In training you will be up against the clock before to take part in the official race tests during the week:-
La fusée (super G)
La flèche (giant slalom)
Le chamois (slalom)
After the tests, you will have a French national classification (ski open), and you will be able to locate your level compared to the best skiers in France.
The training course is from Sunday to Friday (6 days, 3 hours a day). The rest of the day, your will be able to ride with your friends and practice the technical elements approached during the training course.
This training course will also prepare you for the “Test technique” which is the first exam for the French national ski instructor degree (BEES 1er degree option ski Alpin).
Collective courses :
Aimed at beginner to intermediate skiers, those wanting something less intensive or riders that want guiding round the slopes.
Helping you get a head start in your skiing or improve your technique in a good atmosphere, and in full safety.

432 apartments, on 6 floors (with elevator) Studios for 4 people, apartments for 6 or duplexes for 8 people, are proposed on the snow front200 m from the village centre.
The “package” includes:
- lodging for 7 nights consecutively
- Area Skipass for 6 days (Domaine Foret Blanche)

The package does not include :
- visitor's taxe (0.50 € / night / pers : to pay at the reception)

The stay : from Saturday 17h00 (day of arrival), to next Saturday 10h00 (departure day), = 6 days and 7 nights.
A deposit of 240 €uros (including 45 € for the housekeeping), per apartment, will be required at the reception desk in exchange for the keys. This entire deposit will be returned at the end of the stay, provided you leave a clean apartment.
